Bridge House Dental Practice & Implant Centre ("we", "us", "our") is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and regulated by the General Dental Council (GDC). Our practice is located at 377 Norwich Road, Ipswich, IP1 4HA.

What information we collect
When you become a patient or enquire with us, we may collect: your name, date of birth, address, phone number, email, GP details, medical history, dental history, treatment records, X-rays and intra-oral photographs, payment information, and any correspondence between us.
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect basic technical information including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent — used solely to improve the site.
How we use your information
We use your information to: provide dental care and treatment, manage appointments, maintain accurate clinical records (required by law for 11 years minimum), process payments, communicate with you about your care, and respond to enquiries.
We will never use your data for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
Who we share your information with
We may share your information with: other healthcare professionals involved in your care (with your consent), the NHS for NHS treatment claims, dental laboratories making your prosthetic work (only details necessary), HMRC and our accountants (financial records only), and our IT/insurance providers under strict data processing agreements.
We will never sell your data.
How long we keep your information
Clinical records: 11 years after your last appointment (or until age 25 for under-18s), as required by NHS England and CQC guidance.
Financial records: 7 years for HMRC compliance.
Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent.
Website analytics: aggregated only, no personal data retained beyond 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your records, request corrections, request erasure (subject to legal record-keeping requirements), restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability.
