NHS Dental Practice in Ipswich
The NHS works on a banding system comprising of three bands. The following prices are correct as of June 2022, however, some people are exempt from paying for NHS Dental treatment please click on this link for further details and to check your eligibility.
Includes an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish and planning for further treatment.
Includes all treatment covered by Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).
Includes all treatment covered by Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.
If you require urgent care, you will only need to pay one Band 1 charge of £23.80. Most urgent treatments can be done in one appointment. Once your urgent course of treatment is complete, you may be advised to make another appointment for a separate course of non-urgent treatment. In this case, the relevant Band charge will apply.
Please note: We take deposit for any appointments made. The cost of band 3 treatment can be paid in instalments during treatment stages. NHS is a health service with limited resources and hence frequent missed appointments will lead to reconsideration of your registration with our practice. Please give us 48 working hours’ notice if you cannot make your appointment so that we can re-allocate your time to help another patient.
