We are delighted to be able to provide our patients with straighter teeth using Invisalign clear alignment system.
There are no metal brackets or wires and therefore most of our patients have been positively surprised with how subtle the aligners are in appearance when inside the mouth.
The process of wearing the aligner, the length and duration of each aligner and how to go about caring for them will be discussed with you at your appointments. We ask that you follow all the guidance given in order to achieve the best result. In general we ask that you keep your teeth as clean as possible. This includes brushing your teeth twice every day, using floss/other interdental cleaning aids and following cleaning instructions as recommended by the hygienist and dentist. You also need to continue your regular check-ups with your dentist and regular hygiene appointments.
Each person’s dental needs are unique, and as such, the duration of Invisalign treatment varies. Typically, the process spans up to 6 months. However, during your treatment planning appointments, we’ll delve deeper into your specific case, consider your goals, and provide you with detailed information on the expected duration tailored to your individual needs. Following invisalign treatment we ask patients to wear retainers. Retainers are clear devices usually worn at night time to keep teeth in their new straight position. Teeth love to move back to their original position if retainers aren’t worn following any orthodontic treatment and this includes invisalign.
At this consultation, Dr Neha will discuss your concerns about your teeth and the outcome you are hoping to achieve with the alignment. We will discuss what can be achieved with Invisalign and the general process, as well as the costs involved should you wish to continue.
Clinical photographs are also taken in order to allow us to assess your teeth further.
